Pork Me!
Not as saucy as it sounds but an excellent party treat.
Don't tell them it's got prunes in it. Some people are
quite prejudiced.
Ingredients:
- 20 - 30 cocktail sausages
- 2 packets of bacon
- 20 - 30 stoned prunes (1 per sausage)
- Cocktail sticks (to hold together)
Assemble as follows:
Cut bacon into wrappable size. (generally two portions per slice)
Wrap sausage and prune tightly together using
bacon.
Hold together with cocktail stick.
Heat oil in frypan and gently cook, turning
regularly. The key to cooking sausages well
is not to go too high. Takes about 5 - 6 minutes
on a low to medium heat.
