Tandoori Lamb Naan
If you are cooking for yourself and have 20 minutes to spare then you have the time to enjoy this. It's another 'meaty' one that is perfect in any weather, even winter because the yoghurt, lime and mint lighten it up.
Serves 1. Double the quantities if you can't bear to share.
Ingredients
- 250 g lamb
- 1 tblsp tandoori paste
- 1/4 cup yoghurt
- Your choice of bread: lebanese bread, pitta bread or naan
- Sauce:
- 1/2 cup yoghurt
- 1 tblsp lime juice
- 2 tblsp fresh chopped mint
- Optional:
- Lettuce
- Cucumber
- Chopped tomato
Instructions
- Combine 1/4 cup yoghurt and tandoori paste and marinate lamb for 10 minutes.
- Grill or fry lamb and slice.
- Make sauce (combine 1/2 cup yoghurt, lime juice and mint).
- Heat bread.
- Assemble: lamb strips, sauce, salad items.
