Whiskey, Alcohol and sugar - all your legal stimulants (once you hit alchohol drinking age, of course).
My mum sent in this recipe for Irish coffee. Both the recipes with Irish in the title were sent in by her. Would-be contributors, don't fall into the trap that you need to have a cultural claim to the recipes you email in. They just have to be easy and peasy (but not necessarily a meal, as this is for a drink).
Ingredients:
- 3cl Whisky (preferably Irish Whiskey)
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- fresh double cream
- hot strong coffee
Instructions
Preheat a stemmed glass in hot water. Add whisky/whiskey. Add sugar and stir in coffee. Float cream on top of coffee by pouring it slowly down the back of a dessert spoon.Drink through the cream. ie. do not stir in the cream.
